Michael Flatley Credits Recovery to Energy Healer

When his step-dancing company next takes the stage, Michael Flatley will once again be able to perform with them, his arms resolutely at his sides, having been cured of a mystery virus by an energy healer, The Irish Independent reported. In 2006, Mr. Flatley, the dancer and choreographer, was struck by a whole-body infection that forced him to cancel the European tour of his dance show “Celtic Tiger”; doctors were unable to identify the virus and weeks of rest did not cure Mr. Flatley’s fatigue and muscle pain.

But he said he has since been treated by Michael O’Doherty, a founder of the Plexus Bio-Energy Clinic, which specializes in “rebalancing the life-force energy within and around the body,” according to its Web site. “When he came to visit me in Ireland, I could barely get out of the chair,” Mr. Flatley said, according to The Independent. “He saw me for about an hour and I walked for about a mile afterwards.”
